Rates

$ 175.00 - Initial Intake Assessment (Self-Pay Rate)

  • 60 Minute Session

  • First visit for gathering health history, discuss reasons for seeking therapy and to discover your hopes/goals for therapy.

  • Out of Pocket/Self-pay - does not require a mental health diagnosis.

  • Insurance Coverage - if we are in-network with your insurance, and your deductible is met, your co-pay will be all that is required out of pocket from you (check with your ins. for co-pay amount). You do need to watch your deductible, especially when the year renews, if it is not met you may be responsible for the full self-pay rate until it is met. Insurance does require a mental health diagnosis.

  • Medicaid Insurance Coverage - if we are in-network with your Medicaid insurance provider, Medicaid will cover your sessions, there will be no out-of-pocket expense to you. If you lose coverage, you must let us know or you will be responsible for sessions billed after coverage was lost.

$ 156.00 - Regular Therapy Session (Self-Pay Rate)

  • 55 Minute Session (after Initial Intake Assessment has occurred).

  • Weekly sessions in the beginning are usually recommended. Number of sessions and how often they occur will depend on many factors, but this is always up to you and what you can commit to.

$ 550.00 - Premarital Counseling, faith-based (Self-Pay Rate)

  • This is a package of 5 sessions, each lasting approx. 55 minutes.

  • Utilizing the SYMBIS curriculum and assessment. Cost Includes the SYMBIS assessment.

  • A great gift for family or friends to gift a newly engaged couple!

  • This is an out of pocket, self-pay service, it is not billable under insurance or Medicaid.

  • This service is facilitated by Kecia D. Guerra, LPC and Fernando Guerra, M.A., M.A.

Insurance

Sound Mind Counseling, LLC is in-network with some insurances (see below). If we are not in-network with your insurance, we can provide an itemized bill (super bill) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement according to your insurance guidelines (these do require a mental health diagnosis). Be sure to contact your insurance company to understand your behavioral health benefits, your deductible and your co-pay before scheduling your appointment.

  • Anthem Healthkeepers (Medicaid)

  • We are not a Medicare provider at this time. Due to Medicare guidelines, clients with Medicare will need to pay out-of-pocket and cannot submit their visits to Medicare or their supplemental for reimbursement.

We accept most major credit cards, check and cash payments.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please notify us at least 24hrs. beforehand to avoid a cancellation fee.
